Technical Architecture
Powering a Scalable Virtual Classroom With Modern Technology
Learning Experience Layer
The platform supports teacher discovery, session booking, live 1:1 and group learning, and session management across web and mobile. The web application uses React 18, while mobile experiences are built with Flutter and Dart.
Teacher Management Layer
Teachers can manage profiles, availability, schedules, classes, and teaching activities through the platform. The backend is powered by Python 3.12, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL 15, with SQLAlchemy supporting data management.
Live Session Layer
Scheduled classes connect with integrated live video sessions for real-time interaction between students and teachers. Zoom API/SDK is used for live session integration, with WebSocket support for real-time mobile updates.
Payment & Wallet Layer
The platform supports secure session payments and wallet-based transactions through Stripe/Razorpay and the token-based Koins wallet system.
Administration & Trust Layer
Teacher verification, ratings, recordings, cancellation policies, and administrative controls support a secure and reliable learning environment. Authentication and security are supported through JWT, FastAPI-Users, Argon2/bcrypt, OTP authentication, and rate limiting.
Infrastructure & Quality
The platform is deployed using Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, Terraform, and Azure Key Vault, with testing supported by pytest, Jest, Cypress, and Flutter Test.
