The Challenge
Designing Zenva meant tackling the complexity of merging automation with human oversight. The biggest challenge was creating a UI that clearly communicates AI-generated responses while keeping the human-in-the-loop workflow seamless. We had to ensure trust, clarity, and editability in each draft—without overwhelming the user. Balancing the power of real-time store data with an interface that’s intuitive for support teams was crucial, especially across varied customer scenarios like returns, refunds, or shipping issues.
The Solution
Our solution was to craft a review-first interface where AI-generated email drafts are visually distinct yet easy to edit, approve, or personalize. By integrating real-time store data directly into the UI and using subtle UX cues to build user confidence, we streamlined customer support without removing human control. Smart defaults, contextual previews, and clean workflows allowed agents to move quickly while maintaining accuracy, tone, and brand consistency.
